Sheltering Life Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization which is committed to providing educational materials to children whose parents are not financially stable.  We cater to the youth and young adults who have dropped out of school due to their parents not being able to afford school uniforms, pens, pencils, erasers, books, and other educational materials. 

Sheltering Life Foundation was created with the less fortunate youth in mind. Within the surrounding areas of all 10 regions of Ghana (Kumasi, Accra, Sunyani, Western Region, Upper East, Upper West, Volta Region, Northern Region, Central Region & Eastern Region) many young people; out of discouragement along with the lack of necessities of educational materials have dropped out of school. Due to the youth leaving school it has caused most to fall by the wayside with no steps towards creating a better future, giving their lives to the streets with no hope of changing. While many may be in class learning, few are swimming in the river, as well as selling on the road. Easily being located sleeping in parks, under freeways, and searching through unhealthy places just to survive from the sickness of hunger.
